DSI students have competed and won at many international competitions such as the Genée International Ballet Competition, Janet Cram Awards (UK), International Ballet Grand Prix, RAD Dance Challenge, Canaan International Ballet Competition, World Ballet Grand Prix and the Asian Grand Prix Competitions.

International Ballet Competition 2015
Genée
The Genée International Ballet Competition is the flagship event of The Royal Academy of Dance held in London annually. It is a global event where the finest dancers aged 15-19 from around the world compete and receive the unique opportunity of working with renowned choreographers and teachers.
Candidates need to have achieved a distinction in Advanced Ballet 2 to be eligible to compete in this prestigious competition.
International Ballet Grand Prix
The International Ballet Grand Prix is the first and only dance competition
supported by National Arts Council and Singapore Ballet.

Janet Cram Awards
The Janet Cram Awards is a prestigious annual event where young dancers between the ages of 8 to 16 from across different regions compete. The competition is based on a demonstration of several exercises from the Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing Modern Theatre (ISTD) Syllabus and a solo performance.
